Everything You Want to Know About Booking a BMX Stunt Show

Whether you’re planning a school assembly, church youth night, community fair, or corporate event, we’ve compiled the most common questions about our motivational BMX shows. If you don’t see your question below, feel free to reach out — we’re happy to help!

Where can you perform BMX shows?

We can perform almost anywhere! We are based in Minneapolis, Minnesota but travel regionally and nationwide for events. We perform at schools, churches, fairs, festivals, arenas, sports venues, gyms, stages, outdoor parking lots, and more.

What are the space requirements for your BMX stunt show?

We’re very flexible. Our minimum setup space is about 10′ x 20′ for speaking only event & sharing bicycles, 15′ x 30′ minimum for basic flat ground stunts with no jumps, and 20′ x 80′ minimum for a small stunt show with backflips. Larger activations require 30′ x 100′ or larger. We typically scale to fit any venue. We perform in school gymnasiums, on carpeted stages, concrete sidewalks, blacktops, parking lots, and grass fields. Indoors or outdoors — we’ll make it work!

How many riders are in the show?

Most shows feature 3 to 5 professional BMX riders, depending on your event type, budget, and audience size. Most performances are hosted by pro BMX rider Dustin Grice, and we often highlight 1–2 riders to ensure the message connects with your specific group.

Will bike tires leave marks on our gym floors?

Occasionally, yes — but don’t worry. Any light tire marks from our rubber BMX tires can easily be wiped away with a tennis ball. We always check in with your janitorial or facilities team, and we clean up after every show.

Do you have references from other schools and events?

Yes! We’ve performed over 1,000 shows across Minnesota and the Midwest, including schools, fairs, Special Olympics events, youth ministries, and major corporate activations. Reach out and we’ll gladly connect you with past clients in your area.

How long is the show?

Our typical show runs 20 to 30 minutes, but we can adapt to your schedule. For school assemblies, we often offer multiple back-to-back shows to accommodate different grade levels or gym sizes. We often do longer 45 minute assemblies, and occasionally 90 minute grand stand shows.

What messages do you talk about during the show?

Our BMX shows are more than just entertainment — they include inspirational and educational messaging around topics like:

  • Kindness and inclusion
  • Anti-bullying and mental health
  • Anti-vaping and drug awareness
  • Chasing your dreams and goal-setting
  • Positive decision-making

What age groups are your shows designed for?

We tailor our messaging and performance style for all ages — from elementary students to high school seniors, as well as church youth groups, college events, and even adults at corporate events. Our team adjusts the tone and content based on your audience.

Can we book multiple shows in one day?

Yes! We often perform two or three shows per day at schools or festivals. We offer discounted rates for multiple performances at the same location to reach larger groups or run split assemblies.

Do you need electricity or any special setup?

We bring our own professional-grade portable sound system and typically just need one standard power outlet nearby. No special lighting or stage setup is required — we handle everything. We also have portable generators in case of no local power options.

Do you offer indoor stunt shows during the winter?

Yes! We have a winter-ready indoor setup perfect for school gyms, church basements, event centers, and shopping malls. We’ve even performed inside the Mall of America during winter events.

Do you travel for shows outside of Minnesota?

Absolutely. While we’re based in Minneapolis, we’ve performed across the Midwest and beyond, including Wisconsin, Iowa, the Dakotas, and as far as New Jersey and Las Vegas. Travel costs are calculated in your quote.

Can you customize the show for our theme or campaign?

Yes! Whether you’re promoting Red Ribbon Week, Kindness Week, a faith-based retreat, or a corporate team-building day, we’ll tailor our message and rider speeches to support your theme.

Are your riders professionals?

Yes. Our team is made up of career BMX athletes with decades of riding experience. Many have appeared in TV segments, commercials, international contests, and events such as X Games and the Olympics. Every show includes Pro-level tricks and stunts. Specific athletes can also be requested based on availability.

Can you perform on grass or uneven ground?

Yes — although hard flat surfaces like concrete or gym floors are preferred for safety and performance quality, we can adapt to most surfaces. For grassy areas, we may lay down protective mats or bring an alternate ramp setup.

Do you carry insurance?

Yes. We carry full liability insurance and are happy to provide a Certificate of Insurance (COI) upon request. We’ve performed at hundreds of schools, public events, and insured venues with zero incidents.

How far in advance should we book?

Many events book months in advance, especially during peak seasons like spring and fall school assemblies or summer fair season. We recommend reaching out as early as possible to secure your ideal date.

Can we take photos or record the show?

Definitely! We encourage photos, videos, social media sharing, and even live-streaming if you’d like. Just tag us — and let us know if you’d like us to take a group photo with your students or team after the show!

Do you offer meet-and-greets or Q&A sessions?

Yes! After the show, we often stay to meet students, answer questions, and sign autographs. Some schools even organize lunches or classroom visits with the riders to build on the message.

Do you sell merchandise at events?

We can — but it’s totally optional. For schools and youth events, we sometimes offer stickers, posters, and t-shirts as giveaways or fundraisers. Let us know your preference ahead of time.

Can you help us promote the event?

Yes! We can provide flyers, digital graphics, social media promos, press release templates, and even video shoutouts from our riders to help build excitement for your event.
